      How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Nordkap

      Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Nordkap is a quick process, taking approximately 5 minutes. Follow these steps to enhance your account security:

      1. Download an Authenticator App

        • To begin, you need an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. Ensure you download the app from a trusted vendor. Follow the app's instructions for initial setup.

      2. Log in to Your Nordkap Account

        • After setting up your authenticator app, log in to your Nordkap account.

      3. Navigate to the Profile Page

        • In the “Administration” module, go to your “Profile page.”

      4. Enable Two-Factor Authentication

        • In the “Two-factor authentication” section, click “Enable.”

      5. Configure 2FA

        • The configuration process will start automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

      6. Verify 2FA Setup

        • Log out of your Nordkap account and log in again. You should be prompted to authenticate using 2FA.
