What does the Accrued Report contain?
The Accrued Report in Nordkap is used to display accrued interest from the latest period break to the selected date. To create the report, you choose:
- Portfolios
- Position types (existing, fictional, or both)
- Currency
- Accrual date (choose the date based on what you want to see, for example, if you want to see accrual for 2023-08-31, select 2023-09-01)
Interest is calculated up to the day before the reporting date and may include events such as repayments and interest bindings.
You can customize the report by choosing whether to include events on the reporting date or not. Once the criteria are set, the report is generated and can be viewed in the system or exported to Excel with selected criteria in a separate tab. The report's columns include:
- Current amount for different position types
- Accrued number of days
- Next payment date
- Cumulative accrued interest
You also have the option to group, filter, and sort the columns in the report and adjust their order for increased flexibility.
More information about this report can be found in the video guide on the Accrued Report.
